Stinson Leonard Street partner Michelle Corrigan is speaking at the JPMA Baby Show May 9-12, 2017 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
Michelle will speak at 10:45 a.m. May 10 and her presentation is entitled "Managing Compliance and Safety in a World of Innovation."
Many industries are seeing an influx of emerging technologies, not the least of which is the prenatal to pre-school market. From 3D printing to cyber security to wearable technology – juvenile product manufacturers are tackling it all, but with these innovations comes a host of safety, testing and liability concerns. Michelle will discuss the evolution of innovation in terms of material, product safety, testing and regulatory issues.
The JPMA Baby show is the largest trade show and consumer baby show in North America.
Michelle practices in the firm's St. Louis and co-chairs the Children's Products Industry Group. She represents manufacturers and distributors of all products, including juvenile and children's products. She has comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the laws and regulations promulgated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission and other federal agencies, and has assisted many clients in a variety of aspects related to product safety.
