A substantial portion of Gerald Weidner’s practice is devoted to representing lenders in commercial and multifamily real estate lending transactions. He routinely represents banks and other institutional lenders in connection with construction loans, bridge loans, term financing, bond financing and bond enhancement transactions. He has assisted in the establishment of an HUD-insured lending program, closed HUD insured loans, represented issuers of GNMA mortgage backed securities, represented credit enhancers in multifamiliy transactions involving financing by Fannie Mae and performed due dilligence in connection with the proposed purchase of Fannie Mae approved lenders. His experience representing lenders includes loan origination, loan servicing, servicing transfers, purchase and sale transactions, workouts and foreclosures. He has also represented several nationwide lenders in establishing consumer loan and installment sale programs in Missouri and Kansas and has represented local banks in consumer loan matters.Gerald also represents corporate, institutional and individual clients in various types of business and finance matters including stock and asset acquisitions, real estate transactions, leasing, operating lines of credit, equipment financing, and real estate lending. Gerald also represents businesses in connection with corporate issues and various business contracts.
