Greta Bauer Reyes focuses her practice on litigated employment matters with particular experience defending employers in the railroad industry. Greta is dedicated to learning the intricacies of her clients' businesses and industries to provide focused representation at any stage of litigation.
Greta has particular experience representing clients in whistleblower actions. She devotes a significant portion of her practice to defending retaliation complaints brought by employees under the Federal Rail Safety Act (FRSA). Greta provides clients with experience and guidance during OSHA investigations of FRSA complaints and through all stages of litigation before the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges and in federal court.
Greta also regularly represents employers in the defense of administrative claims at the EEOC, the Minnesota Department of Human Rights and other local and state administrative agencies. In addition, Greta has represented clients in state and federal court in cases brought under the FMLA, ADA, ADEA, and Title VII in addition to cases under state employment laws.
Prior to joining Stinson Leonard Street, Greta practiced employment and commercial law at a mid-sized Minneapolis law firm where she counseled clients on day-to-day matters and represented clients in litigated disputes.
