Jennifer Allen is a "second-career" attorney. She worked extensively in the insurance field before attending law school, acting as a team leader in a large claims department, and brings a particularly pragmatic and business-oriented approach to her work. Jennifer’s practice focuses on assisting a variety of clients in resolving legal disputes as economically and efficiently as possible. She has represented banks, mortgage lenders, homebuilders, small businesses, insurance companies, entrepreneurs and individuals. She has also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in civil rights litigation.
Jennifer negotiated a very favorable settlement for a client defendant, thereby protecting the client from a potential multi-million dollar judgment and allowing the client to focus on running its business. She was also involved in the firm’s representation of a key witness in connection with the ethics hearing of former senator Scott Bundgaard before the Arizona Senate Ethics Committee. Jennifer recently obtained summary judgment for a client who had been sued for defamation, with a rare ruling in her favor from the bench. Jennifer has also obtained favorable settlements for her clients that help them to avoid continued costly litigation. She recently obtained a settlement for a client that allowed the client to rescind several agreements that would have prevented the client doing business with a large number of customers, an outcome that would have been costly and difficult to obtain in litigation.
