Jere Sellers is a partner in the Business Litigation Division and has tried more than 260 cases. These cases span a wide variety of topics including enforcement of consumer and business lending cases, commercial contract cases, nondisclosure of defective conditions concerning the sale of real estate, construction law cases including contract dispute and delay claims, confidentiality provisions and non-compete clauses, and commercial real estate issues. He utilizes his extensive litigation experience in helping negotiate business and construction contracts, workouts on real estate and commercial loans, defense of lender liability actions, as well as in contract and lease negotiations.
Jere draws from his background as a chemical engineer where he worked as a project manager for an engineering and environmental consulting firm for eight years representing clients both nationally and internationally. In his work as an engineer, he analyzed numerous Fortune 500 companies’ products and markets including production and manufacturing facilities, and made recommendations for improving and modifying their operations.
