Stinson Leonard Street LLP seeks an experienced Virtualization Engineer to join the Firm's Kansas City, MO office. The Virtualization Engineer is responsible for the end-state architecture and associated projects of all the Firm's virtualization environments, ensuring consistency and best practices for specific requirements and goals. The role is responsible for installing and configuring hardware in the Data Center environment, including troubleshooting. The role will work develop, implement and maintain a cost effective, virtualized and highly available infrastructure.
The Virtualization Engineer will strategically execute infrastructure goals, under the guidance of the Director of Network Operations and coordinate such goals with other groups throughout the Firm, such as Information Services, Security and Risk.
The Virtualization Engineer must be able to work with users of varied technical ability and have strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. The role also requires the Virtualization Engineer be available for scheduled on-call duties during non-business hours and be available to work occasional nights and weekends.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
