Marc Goldstein advises clients on a wide-range of employment needs across diverse industries. As a member of the firm’s Employment and Labor Law division, Marc regularly counsels clients on unique employment situations as they arise. These situations include guiding clients through complex employee transitions, including compliance with the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act; formulating employment policies and handbooks; drafting and enforcing restrictive covenants; and responding to employee complaints such as wage and hour violations, breach of express and implied contracts, whistleblower claims, violation of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), harassment, retaliation, and discrimination based on race, disability, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and national origin. He represents clients in a broad range of industries, including health care, gaming, and scrap recycling.
In addition, Marc regularly engages in all phases of civil litigation, and has bench trial, jury trial and appellate practice experience. In connection with his practice, Marc has represented clients before federal and states courts as well as administrative agencies and tribunals. Marc also has advised companies on immigration visa and compliance issues, and assisted companies secure working visas and permanent status for professional employees.
