Melanie Full concentrates her practice on business and commercial litigation with an emphasis on financial services, securities, insurance, and general contract litigation. Melanie also practices in the area of art-related law advising clients on acquisitions, deaccessions, risk, and litigated matters.
Melanie began her career at Paul Hastings in Los Angeles, and since that time, has developed broad national experience in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration and mediation forums, including FINRA. She has represented various clients throughout her career, including financial institutions, beauty products manufacturers, lenders, health care providers, family businesses, LLC’s, and individuals. Melanie has handled a wide variety of complex litigation matters, including large consumer class actions, shareholder disputes, unfair competition claims, trusts and estates, merger litigation, and other business tort claims. Melanie has also created and presented continuing legal education seminars on ethical issues in e-discovery and generational differences in the workplace.
In addition to her work at Stinson Leonard Street, Melanie is actively involved in the arts community and currently serves as President of the Board for Springboard for the Arts, a community arts organization located in Saint Paul. She also manages the SLS Arts Pro Bono Program.
