Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP announces the addition of Gregory Hague to its Phoenix office. Hague holds the distinction of achieving the top score for February’s Arizona Bar exam and, at 61, may be the oldest person in the nation to achieve the #1 score on any state bar exam.
A highly regarded national real estate expert, entrepreneur, educator and author, Greg has been quoted in books, magazines and newspapers across the country, and has appeared on numerous radio and television programs, including frequent interviews and guest commentary in the Wall Street Journal and on National Public Radio. He or his companies have been quoted or referenced in REALTOR magazine, Money magazine, Kiplinger’s book, Buying and Selling a Home, and in The Arizona Republic.
“Greg is one of the most compelling and dedicated individuals I have ever had the privilege of knowing,” said Michael Manning, Phoenix office managing partner. “Greg will have an immediate impact on our practice. His unique experiences and business acumen, along with his brilliant legal mind will be invaluable to Stinson Morrison Hecker and our clients. His drive and passion are unparalleled.”
Hague’s significant business achievements began after graduating law school in 1974, when he assumed management of his family’s real estate firm and helped catapult its growth to over 300 agents. He subsequently founded several highly successful brokerage, franchise, and development firms, both nationally and locally, including one that he grew to more than 100 offices with locations from Fairbanks, Alaska to Boca Raton, Fla.
“I’ve seen business people follow good legal advice that turned out to be bad business strategy,” explains Hague. “I’ve found that the best legal decisions require good business sense. As an attorney and business entrepreneur for over 35 years, I believe I have the unique ability to analyze our clients’ issues from both a legal and a practical perspective. I want to help clients benefit from good legal advice, with the added dimension of real world business practicality.”
Hague will focus primarily on business, commercial and real estate law. He received his juris doctorate from American University in 1974 and his bachelor’s degree from Miami University.
