Nicholas Loyal focuses his practice in construction and business litigation. He has defended construction professionals in state and federal court and has litigated property damage and large loss subrogation matters across the country in trials, arbitrations and mediations involving construction defects, claims for extra work, and catastrophic fire and water losses. Nicholas has won full summary judgment for clients in both state and federal court, and has tried cases in multiple jurisdictions.
Prior to joining the firm, Nicholas successfully represented clients in every aspect of complex civil litigation matters at law firms in Chicago, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri. He is licensed to practice in Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, and their federal courts.
While attending law school, Nicholas served on the executive board of the Saint Louis University Law Journal, and worked as a judicial extern with the Honorable William D. Stiehl, United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Illinois. Nicholas also completed internships with the United States Department of Justice in Washington, DC, the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office, and the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
