Minimum Wage Increases and Other Changes Effective January 1, 2014In many states and cities, minimum wage rates are subject to annual change. Changes are expected or have been announced in three states where Stinson currently has offices. Other changes effective January 1, 2014 include a new model COBRA Election Notice which references coverage available under the Affordable Care Act, and new census data which must be used for affirmative action plans that commence on or after January 1, 2014.
