Rob Kugler, deputy chair of Stinson Leonard Street’s Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Division, maximizes value and minimizes exposure for creditors, shareholders, governance boards, trustees and committees in bankruptcy proceedings. Rob represents clients in bankruptcy protection and litigation matters, serves as trustee to post-bankruptcy creditor trusts, and litigates complex commercial litigation disputes on behalf of lenders, lessors, developers, manufacturers and retailers across the country. Clients value Rob’s ability to quickly grasp the business objectives and effectively align legal strategy to achieve those objectives. Rob regularly speaks on complex bankruptcy litigation matters and has served as an adjunct bankruptcy professor at Hamline University. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Dennis O’Brien of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner at the firm of Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi LLP. Rob's diverse, nationwide practice was recently featured in Attorney at Law magazine.
