Robin Carlson is a partner in the firm’s ERISA/Insurance litigation practice group. Robin has experience handling a wide variety of litigation matters including single plaintiff, multi-party and class action litigation. In addition to litigating a broad spectrum of commercial disputes, Robin has experience in employment, insurance, and product liability litigation. She has represented clients in cases involving alleged violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and background checks, employment discrimination, confidentiality and non-compete/non-solicitation agreements, employee benefits, banking disputes, and trademark matters. She has served as counsel in jury trials and in appeals in the Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa Courts of Appeals as well as the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eighth and Tenth Circuits. Robin has provided assistance and expertise in requesting exemption from the FAA for a computer visualization company to operate UAVs. She also provides pro bono services in matters involving special education and student discipline.
Prior to joining the firm, Robin was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kathryn H. Vratil, U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas.
