Ruth focuses her practice in the areas of business litigation, class action litigation, regulatory investigations, and criminal defense. Prior to joining Stinson Leonard Street LLP, Ruth practiced at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York City, where she represented both corporate and individual clients in FCPA-related matters, complex financial services class actions and investigations by the Department of Justice. Ruth also maintains an active pro bono practice, which has included cases involving prisoners’ rights, reproductive rights, immigration law and indigent criminal defense. Before entering private practice, Ruth served as a law clerk for the Honorable Carol B. Amon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and as a legal intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in that district.
