Az Business Recognizes Sharon Ng on Most Influential Minority Business Leader List

Stinson LLP Partner Sharon Ng has been named to Az Business' 2023 "Most Influential Minority Business Leaders" list. Ng is one of 23 diverse leaders making an impact throughout Arizona and beyond to make the list.

The 2023 list features a discussion on workplace diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as the overall victories and challenges currently faced by Arizona's minority employees, employers and workplace leaders.

"From my perspective, organizations that seek to increase DEI must first take stock of their current state," Ng said. "If there are diverse individuals thriving at their organizations, taking time to ask good questions about what helped them and did not help them, can aid in shaping programming and retention efforts."

Ng focuses her practice on employment law guidance and counseling and litigation and is chair of the firm's Tribal Law and Governance practice. She has consistently taken steps to advance and support attorneys of color, including serving as co-chair of Stinson's Attorneys of Color Employee Resource Group for more than three years. Ng also played an integral role in launching Stinson's annual Diversity Week and helped to create the firm's Phoenix Office Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Ng also serves as President of the Arizona Asian American Bar Association.
