Gillespie Elected to Partnership Two Years After Joining Stinson in Denver

Stinson LLP attorney Andrew Gillespie has been elected to the firm's partnership, effective February 2023.

Gillespie joined Stinson in the firm's Denver office in 2021, adding to the depth of the firm's banking and financial services and real estate practices.

Gillespie focuses his financial services and real estate lending practice on helping banking, private equity, privately-held business and real estate investor clients reach their business goals across a wide range of industries. He has extensive business experience, having worked in commercial real estate development, investment and finance prior to becoming an attorney, and leverages his business background to provide innovative, strategic and practical advice when counseling lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured loans, and private equity firms, real estate developers and investors in a variety of complex transactions.

Outside of his practice, Gillespie is involved in the Denver community. He is a member of the Downtown Denver Partnership Development Council, comprised of Denver-area business leaders who work to reduce barriers to development, identify development opportunities and increase the supply of new housing in downtown Denver and surrounding neighborhoods. Gillespie is also a member of the Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation's 2221 Society, a philanthropic organization dedicated to transforming children's health and supporting initiatives to identify and fund projects that will advance pediatric medicine and care.

Gillespie earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
