Stinson's Father-Son Duo, KC's Top Real Estate Attorneys Featured in Kansas City Business Journal
Stinson LLP Partners Chris Frantze and David Frantze are featured in a Kansas City Business Journal article, "Family Matters: Father-son duo become top KC real estate lawyers," highlighting their relationship and roles within the real estate market.
The article details the Frantze's distinction between family ties and professional roles. It's a working dynamic that has been in place since Chris's childhood and carried over to their roles at the firm when Chris joined Stinson as an associate in the Real Estate & Public Finance Practice Division in 2014.
"My father was my scoutmaster growing up, and he was super involved," Chris said. "So this was just another thing where he was in a leadership position in something I was involved in because that just always happened."
David continued, saying, "It was a very similar dynamic. I mentored him as part of a group of young attorneys who were all very smart, and he had to work and learn things just like everyone else."
In addition, the article highlights the lessons David provided Chris on professionalism and the importance of being a problem solver instead of a road block. This advice shaped Chris as he follows in his father's footsteps and plays a critical role in some of Kansas City's most significant real estate projects.
"As a father, sometimes you never know if the lessons you hope they learn from you about how to live, values and those sorts of things will stick or not," David said. "I watched Chris work on that Westside project, and it was one of those things where you see that the values you taught them stuck. He's working to do something that benefits the community and people who have economic challenges. I'm incredibly proud of him"
