Stinson's Thomas Salerno Joins Tbird2 Advisory Board

Stinson LLP Partner Thomas J. Salerno has been selected to serve as a member of the Thunderbird Field II Veterans Memorial, Inc. advisory board, effective April 2023.

The Thunderbird Field II Veterans Memorial is a nonprofit organization aimed at preserving the history and culture of aviation in Scottsdale, Arizona, providing a tribute to veterans, creating unique educational tools and scholarship opportunities for Arizona students in aviation, and supporting Dogs4Vets.

Salerno is currently chairman of the Arizona Military Historical Society, an organization that shares his passion for the preservation of military history, including preserving the memory of those who served, both home and abroad, in World War II. He also served for three years as a member of the advisory board to US Vets, a nonprofit dedicated to assisting veterans in making the challenging transition from military and combat life to civilian life, and for 13 years as a member of the board and Legal Affairs Officer of the WWII Airborne Demonstration Team Foundation.

Salerno brings global experience and out-of-the-box solutions to his work with complex commercial corporate restructurings, helping distressed, often high-profile companies find new paths forward. He is a frequent writer, lecturer and presenter, and is active in leadership in the American Bankruptcy Institute.
