Charley Jensen, Clary Redd and Jay Simpson Named to Tax and Estate Planning "POWER LIST"
Stinson LLP Partners Charley Jensen, Clary Redd and Jay Simpson have been named to Missouri Lawyers Weekly's "POWER LIST" for tax and estate planning attorneys.
The "POWER LIST" recognizes 31 of Missouri's most powerful attorneys in tax law and estate planning. This is the second year in a row that attorneys Jensen and Simpson have made the list, and the first year for Redd.
Jensen has extensive experience in tax law and assists his clients in the areas of local, state and federal taxation, business planning and estate planning. He represents individuals and companies in matters before the Internal Revenue Service, U.S. Tax Court and various district courts on differing tax issues. Jensen also has extensive experience in the formation of nonprofit corporations and advises them on federal and state tax issues.
Redd has a preeminent, national reputation for developing and implementing unique solutions to complex problems, resolving intra-family disputes efficiently and sensitively and providing practical advice for current and future generations. He works on complex estates, trusts and estate planning projects, and is deeply involved in the intertwined legal and practical aspects of wealth preservation and transmission.
Simpson has significant tax law experience, advising on all types of tax issues and a wide range of transactional and corporate governance issues, including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, reorganizations and restructurings. He has a strong knowledge of state income, sales and property tax law, and represents clients in tax disputes with state and local taxing authorities.
