Energy Attorneys Reiter, Schneider Selected to Inaugural Lawdragon 500 Guide
Stinson LLP Partners Harvey Reiter and Jonathan Schneider have been named to the inaugural Lawdragon 500 Leading U.S. Energy Lawyers guide.
The 2023 guide recognizes attorneys exceling in the areas of oil and gas, water, electric, nuclear, solar and mined energy, with practices ranging from energy regulation to corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and finance, to infrastructure development supporting the global power grid.
"These 500 lawyers bring remarkable achievements and backgrounds to their practice. They apply their knowledge to help old-school and new energy companies finance and build new power sources throughout the world, achieve transactions that help them grow and reach into new markets," Lawdragon's Chief Executive Officer Katrina Dewey said in a release. "These lawyers and their firms are the go-to for energy companies and financiers in a range of critical matters."
Reiter focuses his practice on competition in the electric and natural gas industries, representing clients in proceedings before FERC the Federal Communications Commission and the federal courts. He brings a wealth of knowledge to his legal counsel in litigation, appellate, transactional and other legal services, and offers regulatory and trial insights with a strong focus on antitrust and competition issues. In addition to his work at the firm, Reiter is an adjunct professor of law at George Washington University Law School and editor-in-chief of the Energy Law Journal.
Schneider draws on deep experience representing clients across the spectrum of electric and natural gas regulation to provide strategic counseling and hands-on conflict management. He advises on a wide array of regulatory issues associated with electric and natural gas utility regulation, market oversight, asset purchase and sale and project development.
