Karlee Williams Named to Wichita Business Journal's Women Who Lead in Legal and Insurance List

Press Release
10.04.2024

Stinson LLP attorney Karlee Williams is featured in the Wichita Business Journal's "Women Who Lead in Legal and Insurance" series.

The series highlights women making significant strides in their fields, acknowledging their achievements and contributions to reshape legal strategies and foster positive change in the community. Williams is one of 21 women selected for inclusion.

Williams credits her mentors, including undergraduate and law school professors, "brilliant colleagues" and the "powerhouse women" in Stinson's Wichita office for shaping her professional and personal growth. She also provides advice for women considering a career in the legal profession.

"Seek a workplace where women are visibly respected, celebrated and appreciated, and where colleagues genuinely care about each other's well-being," she says. "Surround yourself with women in your field whom you respect and admire. Strive to be someone who actively supports and lifts up those around you."

Williams focuses her practice on helping privately-held and family-owned businesses with organization, financing, mergers and acquisitions, and business succession planning. She also assists with advising on tax matters, including estate planning and trust and estate administration. "Helping people is incredibly rewarding," Williams notes. "While the work itself can be challenging sometimes, collaborating with colleagues I genuinely enjoy makes all the difference."
