Rose Authors Article About Master Service Agreements, Supply Chain Issues for Law360
Stinson LLP Partner Bryan Rose authored an article for Law360, "Master Service Agreements Can Mitigate Manufacturing Risks."
The article examines the newly evolved business relationship between suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM), a result of supply chain issues continuing to plague the manufacturing industry, and details why a master service agreement (MSA) can benefit such a relationship.
"OEMs and their suppliers can enter into a master service agreement as an investment in their business relationship," Rose writes. "Constructed correctly, an MSA can strengthen the business relationship between the parties by allowing for streamlined negotiations, faster transactions and — perhaps most importantly — amicable dispute resolution."
Rose states that suppliers and OEMs of all sizes stand to benefit when a good MSA governs their business relationship. "Not only will an MSA allow you to avoid future hassle and legal expense, it can resolve defects quickly to get the part back into production," he writes.
Rose is a trial attorney with extensive experience handling a wide variety of complex litigation, including cases involving master supply agreements, breach of contract claims, design defects, intellectual property disputes, theft of trade secrets and fraud. He has represented clients in every facet of the aviation and aerospace industry for over 15 years, working with them to develop case winning strategies in a cost effective and efficient manner.
