Stinson Achieves Mansfield Certification Plus, Underscoring Dedication to Inclusive and Equitable Workplace

Stinson LLP is pleased to announce it has achieved Mansfield Certification Plus for 2023-24.

Stinson is one of more than 360 law firms to achieve Mansfield Certification. The firm is also one of nearly 200 firms to earn the "Plus" status, a designation reserved for firms who voluntarily report the outcomes of their inclusive processes.

"As Mansfield's certification criteria grow increasingly challenging each year, participating firms have consistently recommitted to the core principles of transparency, accountability, and knowledge sharing," Diversity Lab said in a press release announcing the 2023-24 Mansfield certified law firms. "This accomplishment, along with their public celebration of it, underscores these firms' steadfast dedication to promoting inclusive and equitable workplaces."

Mansfield is a year-long structured certification process designed to ensure all qualified talent at participating law firms have a fair and equal opportunity to be considered for advancement into leadership roles. The data-driven process transforms how participating firms operate, leading to significant increases in hiring, retaining and advancing the careers of diverse attorneys, as well as enhanced transparency and diversity in leadership.

This is the fifth consecutive year Stinson has achieved both the Mansfield Certification and the "Plus" status.

Stinson's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Department is led by Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer Ann Thomas. The department's mission is to provide an equitable workplace that attracts, retains and promotes individuals of diverse backgrounds through recruitment, engagement and accountability initiatives, partnerships with local and national organizations, and the development of systems and processes that mitigate the effect of bias.
