Stinson Adds Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Attorney to Dallas Office
Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome Jenifer McIntosh, CIPP, to the firm's Dallas office. McIntosh joins as an of counsel attorney in the firm's Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Division.
McIntosh has over 20 years of experience applying privacy, cybersecurity, intellectual property, internet and consumer protection laws to business activities. Her practice is focused on data privacy and data security issues relating to technology-driven transactions and helping businesses protect digital assets. She counsels clients across a variety of industries, including pharmaceutical and health technology, private equity, SaaS providers, ad-tech and e-commerce.

McIntosh has extensive experience handling international transfer requirements, cybersecurity risk management, strategy and data governance, and the impact of dark patterns and customer expectations in e-commerce. She also has in-depth experience preparing and responding to cybersecurity incidents, privacy issues in health care, clinical trials and children's data, in addition to government agency enforcement, marketing privacy issues and workplace privacy. McIntosh also frequently handles commercial litigation cases, including complex contract and licensing disputes, wiretapping violations, patent litigation, business torts and regulatory investigations defense.
Prior to joining the firm, McIntosh was a data privacy and security shareholder at a Texas-based full-service business law firm. She also worked as a chemist at an engineering firm, served as a consultant to companies within the life sciences and technology sectors, and held in-house counsel roles within legal departments spanning multiple industries.
