Stinson Advises KANZA Bank in Sale to Peoples Bank and Trust Company

Stinson LLP served as legal counsel to KANZA Financial Corporation, and its subsidiary KANZA Bank (Kingman, Kansas), in its sale to PBT Bancshares, Inc., the holding company of Peoples Bank and Trust Company (McPherson, Kansas).

Subject to standard closing conditions and approval from shareholders and regulators, the transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025. The acquisition will expand Peoples Bank and Trust Company's presence in the Wichita and central Kansas markets. The combined banking institution will have approximately $1.5 billion in assets and 21 banking offices.
