Stinson Associate Selected to FOCUS St. Louis Spring 2024 Cohort of Emerging Leaders

Stinson LLP attorney Gunnar Johanson has been selected to participate in the FOCUS St. Louis Emerging Leaders Spring 2024 cohort. Johanson is one of 32 early-career professionals to participate in the four-month civic leadership program.

"Emerging Leaders is the perfect opportunity for any early-career professional who wants to take on a greater leadership role in our region," Emerging Leaders Program Director Dr. Yolanda Alovor said in a press release. "Participants leave the program with a better understanding of themselves and our community and a clearer vision for their future."

The Emerging Leaders program provides participants with an increased sense of engagement in the St. Louis region, as well as the tools to take an active role as the next generation of St. Louis' regional leaders. Throughout the program, participants will meet with area leaders to gain a better understanding of the inner workings of St. Louis, explore their personal, professional and civic leadership styles and gain a diverse network of peers.

Johanson represents commercial clients across diverse industries, including real estate development, banking and financial services, and construction, and regularly handles business and commercial litigation matters. Johanson also has significant experience with election law and is a sought-after advisor for various elected officials, political candidates and campaigns.
