Stinson Commits to Mansfield 2024-25 Certification, Renews Dedication to DE&I

Stinson LLP is pleased to announce it has renewed its commitment to achieving Mansfield Certification for 2024-2025. Stinson is one of more than 365 law firms committed to the certification process, which runs from July 2024 to July 2025.

Launched in 2017 by the Diversity Lab, Mansfield Certification is a year-long structured certification process designed to ensure diverse attorneys have a transparent, fair, equal and inclusive opportunity to be considered for advancement into leadership.

The firm is considered to be an "Early Adopter," having joined the Mansfield Certification process in 2019 to meaningfully advance the dialogue on promoting diverse attorneys and allow for all talent within the firm to have a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership roles, benefitting the firm and its clients.  

"Stinson has a long-standing commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion," Stinson's Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer Ann Thomas said. "We continue to participate in the Mansfield Certification as a way to further our efforts to foster a more inclusive and equitable legal profession and further advance diversity, equity and inclusion at the firm."

Stinson's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Department is led by Thomas. With the support of firm leadership and the board of directors, sustaining the firm's legacy of promoting key tenets of diversity, equity and inclusion and increasing a culture that values all backgrounds and perspectives is incorporated into Stinson's strategic initiatives and planning.
