Stinson HR Professional, Legal Marketer Recognized as Unsung Legal Heroes

Stinson LLP Senior Legal Support Services Manager Scott Hackmann and Brand Manager Blair McMullin are recognized by Missouri Lawyers Media with the 2024 Unsung Legal Heroes Award.

The award honors law firm employees whose exceptional dedication and contributions have a significant impact on their firms and the legal profession. Hackmann and McMullin are two of 40 law firm professionals recognized with this award.

Hackmann is recognized for his role overseeing the firm's administrative support teams and for expanding the firm's use of administrative teams during its shift to a hybrid work environment, further allowing them to provide on-site support to attorneys. Hackmann works closely with Stinson's Chief Human Resources Officer Heidi Burton, who he says has given him the best career advice. "Always be curious," Hackmann said. "Having a curious mindset sets a positive example for your team and creates a culture of learning."

McMullin is recognized for her unwavering commitment to upholding the firm's brand identity as well as for crafting visual narratives that resonate with the firm's clients and stakeholders. She said the best part of her job is "collaborating with my team, attorneys and other departments to develop creative solutions and strategies for presenting information to stakeholders, clients or prospective clients. The most rewarding feeling comes at the end of each project, knowing that I have been able to transform someone's vision into a tangible and visually compelling reality."
