Stinson LLP Adds Business Litigation Partner Jeffrey Harris and Litigation Attorney Jennifer Putnam Ooms to its Phoenix Office

Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome Partner Jeffrey Harris and attorney Jennifer Putnam Ooms to its Phoenix office. Both are joining the firm's Business Litigation Practice Division. Harris brings extensive experience in complex civil and commercial litigation. Putnam Ooms has significant experience in business litigation disputes, real estate and the complex litigation space.

With experience in contracts, collections, construction, and real estate disputes across key sectors such as health care, technology, manufacturing, and financial services, Harris has a proven track record of representing a diverse client base, including Fortune 500 companies, in multi-jurisdictional cases. Prior to joining Stinson, Harris co-founded a Phoenix law firm, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of its litigation practice area and advised on significant transactions, including a notable nine-figure contract dispute.

With extensive experience in all stages of litigation—discovery, motions, trials, appeals, and alternative dispute resolution—Harris provides comprehensive counsel to his clients, which extends to advising on subcontract litigation and focusing on minimizing exposure while avoiding costly legal battles. 

Harris holds a J.D. from Brigham Young University Law School and a B.A. in English, magna cum laude, from Brigham Young University. He is admitted to practice in Arizona, Utah, and the Ninth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals.

Prior to joining the firm, Putnam Ooms worked as an associate at two Phoenix law firms where she focused on litigation related to real estate conflicts, condominium issues and other commercial issues. She also gained experience at the Maricopa County Superior Court, working across civil, criminal, juvenile, probate, and family law calendars. She has experience advocating for clients in appellate work in the Arizona Court of Appeals and Arizona Supreme Court.  

Putnam Ooms earned her J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law and a B.A. from Northern Arizona University. She is admitted to practice in Arizona.
