Stinson LLP Adds Class Action Partner Nathaniel Foell to its Tampa Office ​​

Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome Nathaniel Foell as a partner in the firm’s Financial Services Class Action division. Based in the firm’s Tampa office, Foell is an accomplished litigator who brings significant experience in class actions, complex commercial litigation and arbitration, and appellate matters.

Foell has defended class actions concerning consumer products, vacation ownership, insurance products, data security, and beyond. He received a JD Supra 2025 Readers’ Choice Award for his thought leadership on class actions, and he has been chosen to author amicus curiae briefs on cutting-edge issues in class action law.

Foell has handled complex commercial disputes of many kinds, whether in federal court, state court, or arbitration. Recent examples include disputes in the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida, in Hillsborough County’s and Miami-Dade County’s Complex Business Litigation Divisions, and in Judicial Arbitration and Mediation Services (JAMS) and American Arbitration Association (AAA) arbitrations.

Foell has briefed and argued appeals on a variety of issues, and has submitted amicus curiae briefs for trade associations and others in courts across the country.

Before joining Stinson, Foell was a partner at an AmLaw 200 firm in Tampa, and prior to that he was an associate at an AmLaw 20 firm in Washington, D.C. He also clerked for the Honorable David F. Hamilton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

Foell holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law, an A.M. from Harvard University, and a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Washington, D.C., and New York.
