Stinson's HR Director Recognized by Wichita Business Journal
Stinson LLP Director of Human Resources Chelsea Clennan has been named a 2025 HR Professionals Awards honoree by the Wichita Business Journal. This recognition honors leaders who advance the human resources profession through navigating complex issues at their workplaces.
Before joining the firm in 2015, Clennan began her career in nonprofit as the executive director of United Way in El Dorado, Kansas. Now, as Director of Human Resources, she plays a pivotal role in shaping Stinson’s people-first approach, ensuring employees feel valued and supported while continuing her passion for helping, advocating for and advancing the lives of others through learning and development. In addition to her role at Stinson, Clennan is an adjunct professor at Friends University in Wichita, Kansas.
“HR is more than a job to me. It’s a chance to make a real impact on people’s lives,” Clennan said. “In my role, I’ve always strived to blend business objectives with empathy, recognizing that the two are not mutually exclusive. By aligning goals with the well-being of our teams, we not only drive success but build an environment where everyone can thrive.”
Clennan was recognized as a Young Professional in HR by the Wichita Business Journal in 2023. Clennan and her fellow honorees will be recognized at a ceremony in Wichita on February 13th.
