Susan Warshaw Ebner Selected to Serve on Procurement Round Table

Stinson LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Susan Warshaw Ebner has been elected as Director of the Procurement Round Table (PRT). Ebner will serve a five-year term, effective June 2, 2022.

Trey Hodgkins, Director of the PRT and Chief Executive Officer of Hodgkins Consulting LLC, and the Honorable Allan Burman, Ph.D, the immediate past Chair of the PRT and President of Jefferson Solutions, nominated Ebner for this role.

"Susan's deep experience and knowledge of public sector issues – acquisition, procurement and cybersecurity – and her willingness to engage in solving problems facing the government and the industrial base made her a perfect fit for the PRT," Hodgkins said.

"I've known Susan for years and have always been impressed with her sharp intellect and strong background in acquisition. She'll make a great addition to our group," Burman said.

The Procurement Round Table is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization comprised of private citizens who serve pro bono to advise and assist the government in improving the federal acquisition system. Past Directors include former senior federal government officials from the executive and legislative branches who currently serve as private sector CEOs or senior acquisition officials, heads of nonprofits and associations, senior partners, attorneys and officers in major law firms and think tanks.

Ebner has deep and wide-ranging knowledge of government contracting matters and litigation. She is co-chair of the Government Contracts & Investigations practice group at Stinson, where she represents large and small businesses, nonprofits and consortia clients on new and emerging issues in government contracts, grants and other agreements. She advises on matters across the full spectrum of public contracting, including bid and size protests and appeals, contract administration and compliance program issues, cyber security, research and development, supply chain risks, strategic alliances, audits, investigations, claims, formal and informal dispute resolution.

Ebner has served in leadership roles on a number of boards and professional organizations. This includes serving in her current role as the Immediate Past Chair of the American Bar Association Public Contract Law Section and her role as Co-Chair of the Cyber Legal Policy Committee, Cyber Division, National Defense Industrial Association. In the past, Ebner has served as President, Boards of Contract Appeals Bar Association; National President, Women in Defense and member, NDIA Board of Directors; and member, U.S. Court of Federal Claims Advisory Council.
