Wichita Business Journal's 2024 Women in Business Honors Includes Stinson's Nanette Kalcik

Stinson LLP Of Counsel Nanette Turner Kalcik is recognized with the 2024 Women in Business Award by the Wichita Business Journal. The award honors Wichita women business professionals who are making strides in their careers and impacts on the community, including their contributions to the success of other women.

Kalcik is one of 33 women selected for inclusion in the 15^th iteration of the Women in Business honors. She was selected for her dedication to mentorship, commitment to empowering the next generation of women and inspiring change, as well as for her career accomplishments thus far.

Serving as an advocate for women is a cornerstone of Kalcik's career and fuels her work within the legal profession and community. She is a member of the Wichita Business Journal's Career Women program, which provides connections, education and training for the city's business women, the Wichita Women Attorneys Association, where she served as president and focused on expanding networking opportunities, mentorship programs and increasing professional advancement opportunities for women in law, the Kansas Women Attorneys Association and United WE, an organization dedicated to advancing women's economic development and civic leadership.

Kalcik is also a 2022 Wichita Business Journal "40 Under 40" honoree and Pat Ayars Mentoring Award honoree, and was named to the publication's 2021 "Women Who Lead: Legal" list.

Kalcik has extensive experience handling a broad range of complex litigation matters, including tort and personal injury actions, Title IX claims, medical malpractice, class action claims, aviation law, employment disputes and a variety of commercial and civil litigation matters. Kalcik is also experienced in banking and financial regulations, and has a robust employment litigation practice.
