Overview
Adam primarily focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and venture capital financings for a variety of private equity clients and their portfolio companies, closely-held corporations, and early-stage and VC-backed companies. He also advises clients on commercial contracts, securities law compliance, and various corporate governance matters.
Adam has assisted clients in mergers, asset purchases, stock purchases, auctions, and joint ventures and other strategic transactions in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, railroad, energy, manufacturing and construction, industrial services, self-storage, and education technology. His work in the private placement and VC space primarily involves medical device, fintech, and autonomous robotics companies.
Prior to joining Stinson as an associate, Adam gained experience as a legal intern and corporate extern at several multinational companies. While in law school, Adam also served as a student director in the University of Minnesota Law School's Business Law Clinic. He continues to stay involved in pro bono matters as a supervising attorney with the Clinic.
