A nationally-recognized labor and employment attorney, Joe assists clients in collective bargaining, labor relations and the management of their workforces, both those with union-represented employees and those that have unrepresented workforces.

Overview

Joe advises clients on collective bargaining, labor and employment counseling and litigation, contract administration and arbitration. He has successfully negotiated national, industry and local collective bargaining agreements in a variety of industries and with most labor unions. Joe has advised clients in a wide variety of industries, including energy, technology, defense, transportation, food service, shipping, manufacturing, professional sports and government contracting.

For the past 30 years, Joe represented numerous management clients in a variety of industries at a large, international law firm and most recently at a labor and employment boutique. He also served as a consultant to one of the world's leading professional services firm. Early in his career, Joe served as associate general counsel for the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in Washington, DC. He also gained extensive knowledge of the NLRB and the National Labor Relations Act as an advisor to the National Labor Relations Board. Joe has served as an adjunct professor of law at the Georgetown University Law Center, where he taught Labor Law.
