For more than four decades, Lowell has been representing clients in the construction industry including national, regional and local owners, contractors and design professionals with operations across the United States and Canada. He also provides strategic counsel to his clients' CEOs and boards of directors.
Recognized for his experience in alternative dispute resolution, Lowell has written and spoken extensively on construction law issues and served as a member of the board of directors of the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota. He also consults regularly with major nonprofit organizations, advising them on matters of governance. Lowell also serves as Senior Firm Counsel for Stinson.

Lowell has played an integral role in a number of major construction projects, including the Mall of America, Regions Hospital expansion, Denver International Airport Terminal and the Consolidated Car Rental Facility at the Las Vegas Airport.
World-class nonprofits have relied on his counsel, including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Dallas Symphony, St. Louis Symphony, Kansas City Symphony, Nashville Ballet, Mann Center and Ojai Music Festival.
He also facilitates regular meetings of the board chairs of the nation’s preeminent orchestras, including the Boston Symphony, New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, San Francisco Symphony and Los Angeles Philharmonic.
