David Barnard is an experienced litigator who has first-chaired patent, trademark, false advertising, copyright, trade secret and other commercial disputes in different courts throughout the nation. He has litigated with and against most of the top IP firms in the country. His broad experience includes advertising law enforcement and defense, non-practicing entity patent infringement defense, and trademark enforcement and defense. In 2012, he obtained what was then the fifth-highest false advertising verdict in U.S. history, in addition to winning total victory on all defensive claims in the same case.
