Deborah offers a unique combination of practical business experience with deep legal knowledge to successfully advise her banking, business and real estate clients on a full range of financial and business transactions. Having previously served as the Chief Legal officer for a privately-held, venture-backed eCommerce company, she knows first-hand how to efficiently manage a transaction to achieve business objectives. She offers more than 20 years of experience handling a full range of commercial transactions.
For her banking clients, Deborah regularly provides counsel in loan and lease transactions secured by real estate, business assets, equipment, stock/ownership interests and intellectual property. Her counsel extends not just to the initial documentation of these transactions but throughout the life of the loan in the areas of covenant compliance, workouts, foreclosures and, ultimately, disposition of OREO and other collateral assets.
For private business clients, Deborah is routinely engaged to serve as outside general counsel. She is an experienced business counselor and frequently helps business owners with formation, governance, acquisitions, intellectual property protection and general commercial law issues.
In the real estate industry, Deborah represents real estate owners in the acquisition and sale of commercial real estate and in the negotiation of commercial leases for both landlords and tenants.
Deborah serves as the managing partner of the firm's Denver office, and is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Arizona.
