Allison Murdock Named a Law Firm Leader by Missouri Lawyers Media

Stinson LLP Managing Partner Allison Murdock has been selected to receive Missouri Lawyers Media's 2023 Law Firm Leader award. This award celebrates law firm executives who have demonstrated extraordinary vision, innovation and leadership during the past year.

As managing partner, Murdock holds ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the firm's operations and performance, including development and implementation of the firm's strategic initiatives. Her focus is to lead and grow a client-focused and community-engaged firm. Murdock was unanimously selected by Stinson's board of directors to serve as the firm's first female managing partner in 2021. In addition, Murdock is a member of its board of directors and executive committee. Prior to becoming managing partner, she served 11 years as the firm's deputy managing partner.

Recent accolades for the firm includes the selection as one of the 2022 "Best Law Firms for Women" by Seramount and achieving Diversity Lab's Mansfield 5.0 Certification Plus status. The firm also was named a 2022 Top Performer and Compass Award winner by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and recognized with the 2022 Beacon of Justice award from the National Legal Aid & Defender Association. In addition, Murdock has been recognized by the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association with the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award.

Murdock is one of six law firm executives who will be honored at the 2023 Missouri Lawyers Awards on Thursday, February 9, 2023. The Missouri Lawyers Awards also honors attorneys throughout the state who made an impact this past year. This includes the winners of the top verdicts, influential appellate advocates and champions, law firm leaders and the "Lawyer of the Year."
