Stinson LLP Partners Bob Bain and Paul Tietz were recently voted as “Best IP Attorneys” by St. Louis Small Business Monthly as part of their Best in Business 2020 series.

Each year, St. Louis Small Business Monthly compiles a Best in Business list of reader-nominated practitioners in a variety of fields and industries. Bob and Paul are among only 18 IP attorneys voted best in St. Louis. 

Bob prepares and prosecutes U.S. and international patents in electrical, computer and related fields for not only small businesses but also large corporations located in St. Louis, across the nation and around the world. An experienced patent and intellectual property attorney, Bob guides his clients through complex intellectual property issues concerning freedom-to-operate, infringement, due diligence and licensing to efficiently safeguard his clients’ intellectual property.  Bob’s IP practice also involves Software as a Service (SaaS) agreements, technology transactions and software licenses.

Paul is also an active volunteer in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Patent Pro Bono Program where he assists financially under-resourced inventors and small businesses secure patent protection.
