Overview
Bob prepares and prosecutes U.S. and international patents in electrical, computer, mechanical, and related fields. An experienced patent and intellectual property attorney, Bob guides his clients through complex intellectual property issues concerning freedom-to-operate, infringement, due diligence, and licensing to efficiently patent and safeguard his clients’ intellectual property.
Experience
Bob manages large and diverse intellectual property portfolios for a number of clients. His experience encompasses computer software and hardware, electronics, consumer products, control systems, industrial automation, fuel cells, microwave imaging, semiconductors, micro-electromechanical machines, superconducting magnets, motors, biomedical equipment, integrated circuits, and business methods.
Bob also assists clients in drafting and negotiating software and technology agreements, including licenses, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements, and consulting and development agreements.
He presents at seminars and trade conferences and is frequently quoted on matters of patent law and business.
Bob is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the largest technical professional organization for the advancement of technology.
