Austin is a labor and employment attorney dedicated to helping employers navigate the complexities of traditional labor law in unionized and non-unionized settings. He is knowledgeable in a range of issues, from handling grievances involving contract interpretation disputes and disciplinary matters to ensuring compliance with the National Labor Relations Act.

Beyond traditional labor law, Austin is well-versed in a variety of employment matters. His experience extends to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, severance and non-compete agreements, and drafting personnel policies that foster a compliant and productive workplace.

Additionally, Austin provides support with employment-related government contract compliance, assisting with prevailing wage matters under the Davis-Bacon Act and the McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act.

Before joining the firm, Austin worked at Stinson as a summer associate. He also gained practical experience in Occupational Safety and Health Administration matters while interning at the U.S. Department of Labor. Additionally, his internship at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri provided Austin with valuable insights for assessing legal matters from various perspectives.
